When selecting a catalyst, request suppliers to provide catalytic efficiency test data under actual operating conditions, rather than relying solely on advertised parameters.

3️⃣ Mechanical Strength and Specific Surface Area: Directly Affecting Product Lifespan
The mechanical strength and specific surface area of a catalyst are important indicators of quality. High-quality products should have a specific surface area of 180-240 m²/g and an average breaking strength greater than 45 N/cm. A high specific surface area means more effective reaction sites, while high mechanical strength ensures that the catalyst is not easily broken or pulverized during transportation, loading, and airflow, preventing equipment blockage.

4️⃣ Application Scenario Matching: General-Purpose Catalysts May Not Be Suitable for Your Working Conditions

Different scenarios have vastly different requirements for catalysts. Refuge chambers are often low-oxygen, closed environments, requiring formulations specifically designed for mining to ensure activity stability after long-term settling; while personal protective equipment such as gas masks requires catalysts that are both lightweight and capable of immediate reaction. When selecting, prioritize consulting suppliers with similar application cases and request actual test data.
